Hamish is an experienced gastroenterologist who has an interest in colorectal cancer screening and prevention, inflammatory bowel disease, IBS and oesophageal diseases including GORD and eosinophilic oesophagitis. He strives for warm, clear communications and application of ethical evidence based medicine. Hamish grew up in Adelaide and completed medical school and basic training in Adelaide, spent 10 years in Melbourne where he worked as a consultant gastroenterologist and completed a PhD at Monash University, and continues to collaborate internationally on gastroenterology research.
