Dr Edward Young (Ned), is a Consultant Gastroenterologist with appointments in both private practice and the public sector at Lyell McEwin Hospital. His clinical interests include diagnostic and interventional endoscopy and colonoscopy. He has recently submitted his PhD thesis examining the endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of early gastrointestinal malignancies, including cancers of the oesophagus, stomach, and colon.

Ned also has a strong interest in inflammatory bowel disease and is trained in intestinal ultrasound. He is an active member of the Lyell McEwin Hospital Inflammatory Bowel Disease Service.
