Adelaide Gastrointestinal Specialists (AGIS), formerly known as Adelaide Gastroenterology, was founded in 2013 by Dr. William Tam, who has over 25 years of experience as a gastroenterologist. As a family-owned business in South Australia, we understand that visiting a specialist can be daunting, and we aim to provide a personal yet professional service to all our patients.

AGIS is a multi-disciplinary team of specialists dedicated to delivering exceptional care to patients with digestive system disorders. Our team includes experienced Gastroenterologists, an Upper GI Surgeon, and a Specialist Dietitian. We operate in multiple hospitals across Adelaide and offer a wide range of procedures, including colonoscopy, endoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, ERCP, balloon enteroscopy, EMR, capsule endoscopy, and more. Additionally, we provide services such as general hepatology, cancer screening, oesophageal motility, and dietetics reviews.
