Dr. Derrick Tee graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2000, before completing his UK Membership with the Royal College of Physicians in 2004. He trained in both gastroenterology and general medicine at leading tertiary hospitals in London, earning his MRCP Gastroenterology certification in 2010.

Dr. Tee holds a post graduate MD (Res) degree from Imperial College London where he conducted pioneering research in intestinal immunology, particularly in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and Short Bowel Syndrome (SBS). He further enhanced his expertise during an endoscopy fellowship at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Perth, focusing on advanced therapeutic endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound and pancreaticobiliary conditions.

As a Fellow of both the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP), Dr. Tee is highly regarded for his academic contributions, with numerous publications and presentations at national and international conferences. He currently serves as the Clinical Lead for the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Service at Lyell McEwin Hospital and is an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at The University of Adelaide.

Dr. Tee is passionate about all aspects of gastroenterology, with extensive experience in endoscopy. Known for his approachable and friendly manner, he strives to ensure that patients feel comfortable discussing their health concerns with him.
